Winnie Harlow: a model, activist, and expert fact-checker. The Lemonadebreakout star has once again corrected an inaccurate tabloid story about herself. This time it was about her makeup, or lack thereof.

After The Daily Mail published a story consisting mostly of photos of Harlow leaving the gym, and speculating that she was wearing a face of makeup while doing so, the former America's Next Top Model contestant clapped back on social media. Harlow took issue with the line from the article, “She highlighted her natural beauty with a palette of makeup that included a simple smoky eye and nude lip.”

Not only was Harlow not wearing lipstick, she also had zero eye makeup on — or any other makeup for that matter. "HAHA! When the tabloids assume ur wearing makeup when ur not 😂," she wrote on Twitter. "@DailyMailCeleb @DailyMail I’ll take that as a compliment💋"

In reality, Harlow spends much more time on her skincare routine than her makeup, which she revealed to W last month. "I don't shop. If I shop, it's for skincare," she said at the 11th annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic. "My skincare routine is so complex. I take off my makeup with avocado oil and tone it with tea tree oil. Then I use an antiaging oil and rub that into my skin and have a face cream, and so on and so forth. It's a lot."

Back in March, Harlow did due diligence for another journalist after one at London's Evening Standard Magazine referred to her as a "vitiligo sufferer." . "@eveningstandardmagazine @evening.standard and all other tabloids, magazines and people who write articles on me PSA: I’m not a 'Vitiligo Sufferer'," she explained on Instagram. "I’m not a 'Vitiligo model'. I am Winnie. I am a model. And I happen to have Vitiligo. Stop putting these titles on me or anyone else."

Harlow ended her statement with her greatest mic drop, yet, writing, "I AM NOT SUFFERING!" she wrote. "If anything I’m SUCCEEDING at showing people that their differences don’t make them WHO they are! All our differences are apart of who we are but they don’t define us! I'm sick of every headline ending in 'vitiligo sufferer' or 'suffers from vitiligo'... The only thing I'm suffering from are your headlines and the closed minds of humans who have one beauty standard locked into their minds when there are multiple standards of beauty!"
