The Best New Skin-Care Products Hitting Shelves in September
As beauty editors, it's our job to point you in the right direction when it comes to shopping for new goods. That being said, every month from here on out, we'll be highlighting the latest skin-care launches — moisturizers, cleansers, serums, masks, and more — on the market so you can make an informed decision about which products are actually worth the splurge. So, without further ado, check out 14 of the newest skin-care products, including Glossier Zit Stick, Tatcha The Kissu Lip Balm, and Belif Aqua Bomb Mist, to hit retail shelves in September. Happy shopping!
Don't sleep on facial cleansers. Though they may be an unexciting part of one's skin-care routine, the sudsmakers may very well be the most important step due to their ability to sweep dirt, debris, and caked-on makeup from skin. The Strivectin Multi-Action Moisture Matrix Melting Cleanser, an oil-to-milk wash, does just that — and so much more. A blend of nourishing oils (marula, avocado, sweet almond, and grapeseed) remove the day's ickies from the skin, while simultaneously moisturizing it.
Following the success of the Tatcha Gold Spun Camellia Lip Balm (it won a Best of Beauty award in 2017), the Japanese skin-care brand is extending its lip-care offerings to include a super-rich and highly hydrating lip treatment, called the Tatcha The Kissu Lip Mask. The silky (never goopy) balm — made with hydrating squalane and antioxidant-packed peach kernel extract — easily glides onto lips to moisturize and plump them up while you sleep.
We have to be honest: After cracking open this unassuming jar of night cream, we weren't immediately impressed. However, after slathering our skin with the rich, silky moisturizer, spiked with fruit-derived alpha-hydroxy acids (from grapes and sugar beets), before bed — and then waking up with plumped-up, glow-y skin — we're changing our tune.
Looks like Summer Fridays are heading into fall. The skin-care brand that brought us the Sephora best-selling Jet Lag Mask is back with its second seasonal treatment: the Summer Fridays Overtime Mask. It's infused with pumpkin fruit enzymes to gently exfoliate, along with beta carotene to brighten skin.
